Following is a message from the parents of a 17-year-old Poway girl who remains missing. Please help if you can and join us in praying for her safe return.
Hello all, Our beloved Chelsea went missing yesterday afternoon in Poway, CA. Attached is a recent photo of her and below is some basic information. Please forward this to everyone you know.

Her car was located thurs late afternoon (2/25) in the Rancho Bernardo Community center parking lot. We believe she went running.

I heard today on HLN Prime News that a Lake Elisnore man was arrested for the possible abduction of Chelsea King and I would suggest that the authorities search along the Ortega Hwy (Hwy 74) – this hwy is very remote – it is a two lane hwy from Lake Elsinore to San Juan Capistrano. Especially, since her car was found in the area where she goes running, he probably took her out of the area to an area he is familiar with. There was a sex offender arrested a few years back that lived in an apartment complex (in Lake Elsinore) backed to the Ortega hwy for the rape and murder of a seven year old girl that he abducted from Tuston, Ca., (he took her out of her hometown into his). Her body was found along the Ortega Hwy. I thought I would put that out there, since the search in San Diego has come up with nothing. My prayers go out to the family in hopes that their beautiful daughter will be found.
This is a shameful act in a first world country where a 17 year old is raped and murdered.
I believe if a micro chip with GPS had been planted in a sex offender like John Albert Gardner III he would have thought twice before committing such a horrific crime (again).
Preventive measures like micro chips must be considered.

I was thinking that maybe there should be a class started in Chelsea’s honor. To teach young people how to love each other. So, maybe they won’t rape and kill each other anymore
