Writers block can be painful. When I was in college I would a couple of different things: 1. Drink. This was the prescribed anecdote to 99% of problems faced. 2. I would give up. By that I mean close my computer, and walk away. Leave it for another day. It's important to get you mind focused on something else. Good luck

Kris....thanks for your perspective on all that is going on. Lucky for you, you've got Buyer's to show the sadness to. I'd just like to have a buyer. Period. It has been really draining...and can only hope that it won't get more depressing as winter set's in (as much as it can here in the South.) I never like to "wish" my life away, but, is it Spring yet?

sometimes our non virtual life just sucks the blog out of you.

I've noticed the feed reader is not as busy in the last days as well. Strange yet interesting phenomena.

Hi Kris ~
Interesting to see your post.
I have also found myself not wanting to write this past week.
Just not in the mood.

Kris, There are a lot of sad houses out there now. And, it's wearing on all parties, the seller that left them, the buyers who are shocked by what was been left behind, and the agents who work to keep everyone looking at the possibilities, rather than the hard, cold facts of life that are so apparent in many of these homes.

Recently, after a particularly tough day of showing homes, that all seems to have a very sad feel to them, I spent 1/2 hour with the buyer decompressing. We were both spent from all that the previous home owners had left behind. Sadness. Anger. And just plain, giving up.

After the buyer found her home a couple weeks later, she mentioned "that day", and how she'd considered stopping her search, just because of how emotional that day had been. Fortunately, she moved forward and found a place that made her eyes light up when she walked in.

Glad you are writing again.
