F- Because my MLS allows me to download tabbed data which I can just drop into the spread. When I update the spread, my site is automatically updated, saving me a step. It may seem minor, but it is huge when time is of the essence.

Kris, since Altos doesn't cover my area I do market reports the old fashioned ways -hours upon hours of Excel+ commentary:) I must be missing something: If you need to update the EditGrid anyway, how is it different from creating another Excel sheet?

Jim, You read it right. The "magic" charts are for active listings. The tables are for detached and attached sales. To add sales trend charts will require more excel fun for Kris, but I agree that the historical charts have value. Altos has been promising that they are looking into providing similar charts for recordings but, for now, they don't exist unless I create them. So... I will try. :(

On your stats page, for any given community (ok, I only looked at SR & 4S), do I read it correctly that the two tables at the top are SOLD information and the graphics at the bottom reflect the ACTIVE properties?

I'd be interested to see a few of the same charts applied to SOLD properties - for instance, how does average SOLD PSF compare to ACTIVE (ie, "asking") PSF?

Or perhaps either top or bottom is incorrectly marked, and both are SOLD (or both Active) ?

I skipped the technical bit about how you made it work, but good to see the stats are back.
