Debra – We keep thinking that there will be a mass exodus from the business by those who represent one client a year… We’ll see. So far, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

So I guess if I move to California, I better now want to continue to be a Realtor! Seriously. one of the silver linings in this market is the part time Realtor and the Realtor who sells only a few homes a year may not renew their licenses.

Everything you stated is what I call minimums. And yet so many Agents continue to resist. I suppose they can stand on the shoulder stalled, as I drive past them….. with their client in the car.

Thanks John! Yep – The minimum tools have changed. Unfortunately, there are too many agents still getting away with using spears while so many others are armed with the big guns. In the end, it’s not fair to the clients who hire them and reflects poorly on us all, which is the bottom line.

Great post. I see a lot of egents still resisting change saying things like It’s still a people business, I don’t need the internet”, etc.

Well it is a people business, but the minimum tools the people require for agents have changed.
