Dogs are funny! Thanks for sharing your dog story. I just bit the bullet last week after much nagging from my 8-year-old daughter to get a dog. I happened to be on Craigslist at the right time because we got a "cat-dog" (lap dog) -- part Maltese and part Lhasa Apso -- from a family who is being relocated. She's named "Go-Go" and she's already training us!

Kris,

Bravo! This is spot-on.

In working in real estate and training our two min-pins, Kari and I have discovered that some habits are very hard to break, both in dogs and clients.

Sadly, Little Bit is not my dog. He belongs to a close family friend, and I merely borrowed him to take a walk along the beach -- precisely because I wanted a picture for my blog post.

For the record, he's named "Little Bit" because he's a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.

Hey Jeff - What are you talking about? This was a post about my dog. :)

You still in Texas? Say hi to the Austin dynamic duo.

Kris - Glad to see you've reconsidered your thinking on open houses. :)

This post is so good on so many levels. What all those levels have in common is a bottom line concept - and THE reason you and Steve are so phenomenally successful.

You guys do what gets results, and abandon approaches yielding inferior results. You do this even when a method has been working great - but stopped producing.

In other words, you give your clients the only thing they really care about -- what they came to you for in the first place.

R-E-S-U-L-T-S

Everything else is hot air created by flapping gums and abused keyboards. :)
