Today, Ms. California. Tomorrow, the world!
Okay, I know this is as much a marketing stunt as it is an acknowledgement of excellence. So, let this be a lesson to all of you Award-Givers. Give me an “award”, and I will give you a post in return. (I have to be suspicious of their scientific method in determining the “best” when the truly excellent, for example Rain City Guide and Bloodhound, did not get the honor of representing their fine States).
There, Mortgage Finders, I reciprocated.
Anyone else?

Congrats Ms. California!
They indeed made interesting choices in Arizona and Washington.
Arizona winner: number of posts between Feb 26 – April 11 = zero
Even more glaring…
Washington winner: number of posts between Dec 5, 2005 – March 19 = zero
I like BlogArizona. It was a big reason I started blogging. But even Shannon (who runs it) admits she’s let it slide. It was in a slow death spiral until the recent addition of the AZ Mortgage Guru as a contributor.
I’m not saying quantity is what matters most, but to pick those particular blogs in the two states that are arguably the “epicenters” of real estate blogging brings the whole list into question.
Not including California of course.
I know its a big internet, but I’d never heard of half of those blogs. I’m like rabidly involved in it too.
Fortunately there are only a handful of us in Connecticut doing it so far.

I am suspicious, too. After all, I didn’t win my state so the thing must be rigged!
