Adorable 2 bedroom 1 bath totally remodeled, new exterior, new interior paint, new kitchen and bath, new flooring, carpet, windows and roof. Bring your buyers! Seller is licensed real estate agent.
Then, shouldn’t she know better? Alert Husband Steve pointed out this very compelling property photo direct from the Sandicor MLS this morning. After we wiped the spittle from our lapels, we were able to figure out what happened to this poor home.
Clicking to the photo page for the property, we found this:

Now, compare this to the photo page for one of our listings. Here you are seeing the top of the screen only, which has been identically sized for demonstration purposes:

Apparently, this agent-owner is using the popular Playschool Lil Agent Point N Shoot camera. Important marketing advice: Tiny little pictures will get resized to fill the space set aside in the MLS for your primary photo and may get a little fuzzy in the process.
Unbelievable.

THAT is hysterical! Do people actually take pictures, upload them and then NEVER AGAIN check them or try to see what a buyer would see if he or she was trying to find it? You said it…unbelievable!
Cari,
No kidding! The punch line is that I, at first, felt sorry for the seller, wondering if they knew what a bone-head their agent was… until I realized the seller is the agent!
Oh… dear… God…
Sadly, I see quite similar examples on a daily basis.
What is wrong with these people?
Jay, It’s comforting to know that the Really Bad Photos show is not only broadcasted locally.
LOL the seller is the agent.
OMG I’m crying with laughter.
The sad thing about this is that they just keep on coming into the business ~ like lemmings over the cliff!!
Kris, I swear people are using their cell phones as cameras- I’m not kidding. That would account for the tiny thumbnail size and crayola crayon pixelation job. Ugh!
ARW,
Maybe, but I have used my cell phone for many of the photos shown on this blog and had to crop and resize them in the process. I honestly don’t know how this atrocity could have come about.
since it doesnt take much to be a Realtor, your pool is full of monkeys.
Hey ponch….wrong blog buddy, you should be over at housingpanic.com with all the other inflammatory misguided malcontents. Good luck!
“Ponch”… That’s funny.
at least they are providing the same level of service on their own listing that they give themselves! That just makes me sad.
