I’m Magnificent!

And to think I didn’t even prepare an acceptance speech!

This morning, Larry Cragun at Real Estate Undressed announced his Magnificent 7 winners for 2006. This was a long-term project for Lar, the idea being to choose the best on-line real estate and mortgage articles written for consumers this past year.

We were included among the four best real estate efforts for our Stupid People Zue Zillow piece. Also receiving the nod were the following Blogging Dignitaries:

Teresa Boardmans St. Paul Real Estate Blog:It’s the Community, Stupid;
Bonnie Ericsons Real Estate Snippets: Vacant House Smells; and,
Maureen Francis: MiOaklandCounty blog: Help. I Can’t Find Your Agent

Congratulations to all, and a big thank you to Lar for this award. It is going directly up on the mantel, right next to the empty spot where my Sellsius Top 10 Women Real Estate Bloggers award should be.

Kris – you make me smile. I have the same empty spot on my mantel. I keep hoping one day that I will be as good as the top ten but know that I have a great distance to go to compete with them all.

Maybe next year they could make it the top 13?

You are magnificent. Congratulations.

Teresa – No justice, I tell you! You are most deserving.
Maureen – No need to expand to 13. I will just make it my goal to knock Ardell off the list. :)

Congrats to you both.

Congrats Kris. You definitely deserve it. Amid all the mire of real estate blog posts there are few that stand out and yours certainly do. You give great blog, girl.

Mary, Coming from you, a compliment indeed!

Kris, You and Teresa can always try for the 2007 Sellsius Top Women Bloggers award! It’s great to be in such esteemed company.

Kris, why would you want to knock off ARDELL, she is clearly the very best of the top ten.

T- It was a joke! She knows (I said many times) that I consider her the Blogging Goddess.

Sarcasm doesn’t translate well to the written word. :(

Mazel Tov Kris! Thats what my people say!

So when is the KRIS vs ARDELL battle Royal happening? Call Don King enetrprises and get that on pay-per-view…$49.95 baby! Im in!!

Kris BergNo Gravatar February 7, 2007 at 11:47 am

Oy vey!

I may be dumb, but I am not stupid enough to take on Ardell in a battle of blogging, wits, or anything else. Outclassed, I would be.

Noah:

KRIS vs. ARDELL in the first annual “Super Blog” competition. Hmmm – Now THAT would be interesting!

Kris BergNo Gravatar February 7, 2007 at 3:35 pm

Now, that would be ugly. Like my agreeing to a Jeopardy match with Ken Jennings (or Ardell, for that matter). Chill, boys. I concede her superiority in all things blogging.

Congrats…I have been reading for some time…well done.

Hi Kris! I’m glad I know you…well, a small bit about you. I have a contact in the prospect mode ready to be transferred from the San Diego market to the beautiful Virginia Beach lifestyle, from what I hear, it might be a bit colder over this way. Anyway, he’s been hitting the pavement out there doing some research and educating himself on your market conditions (similar to ours in VA Beach). I let him know about this “team” in San Diego that might be able to get the job done for him. I’ll be back to let you know what he’s all about, but the good old military is transferring him, so it might be worth the effort! Would you have the time or be willing to work with him if he’s looking to sell in a few days? It could be a decent property; I’ll get some more details and get back to you. Take it easy out there Kris…its 19 degrees here right now!!!

Vince, All homes are “decent”! Of course we are never too busy and would be delighted to help out. Just shoot me an email or phone call when/if the opportunity presents itself.

Our weather is only slightly better at the moment. :)
