I found it very informative and correct in content. I do not use many of those new webites (trulia,zillow,GBase) because the information is out dated. No better way to ruin your credibility then to drive in an area see homes that have sold or are for sale and then see the opposite on a website. It&#039;s also refreshing to see that you do not bombard your potential clients on your website with useless spam. I try to tell Realtors that when I create websites for them. I have seen to many companies take advantage of gullible Real Estate Agents in saying that they need to be online because everyone else is doing it and everyone is using the Internet now. Problem is if you just go out and get a general website then you join the thousands of others and the true question arrives? What value am I getting from visiting your site as a cold lead as opposed to Realtor.com? I am what they consider Gen Y, young and a heavy tech user. I have never used an agent site because when I was searching for homes these were my priorities at first

1. Speed. Do not waste my time! I came here to SEARCH FOR HOMES, not look around at stats, credentials, your picture from ten years ago and tons of clutter links that will only make me go somewhere else.
2. Interface. If your site looks like a cookie cut template or like it was designed by your grandmother then I am back clicking within two seconds. If you do not understand the theme Web 2.0 then go research what I mean.
3. Independent. I really do not want the social pressure knowing that I am tied to an agents site. Give me the perception that it is public and I am surfing anonymously. If I find value in your website and something I want i will call. (I am a fan of the daily email update program)
4. Follow up. When I have searched for homes and requested information on certain properties, then bombard me with area information,school info, community info etc... If you do not have this ready I will go somewhere that does have this. I do see the value in Realtors, but when I feel comfortable.

My work consists of classifying my peers and questioning their behavior. I have done this with over 200 students while i was in college. I just ask questions and try to understand behavior and have been experimenting with different marketing techniques to measure results. My intention is to package and profit from these techniques with Generation Y representing 70-75million demograhic and will be the next big buying power group since the baby boomers.

P.S. if anyone does not think blogging works, I was searching online for IDX providers (browsing) and came across this blog. It seemed interesting and I decided to chime in. But more important, sub conciously the association of San Diego real estate and Kris and Steve Berg has begun. Good Job Kris, It&#039;s refreshing to see that some Realtors are embracing technology and correctly applying principles for their progression.</description>

Agreed about Google Base. My web provider syndicates our listing to GB (and others) and I have to go through all kinds of gyrations just to find them -- and I know they are there! The chances of Joe Surfer finding them are remote, at best.

And Zillow really really really needs to accept some form of feed.</description>
