Zonies! As a San Diegan, you know them. They are the ones that clog our freeways and beaches during the summer months. They are the ones we blame for all of our June through August overpopulation woes. You recognize them by their shoes, the rubber soles having been melted away by pounding the scorching Arizona blacktop to get the *&^%$ out to more habitable temperatures before the mecury reads triple digits. Now I ARE one! Well, at least an honorary one.
Greg Swann of Bloodhound Blog fame recently invited me to join his project as a contributor. If you are reading this, you know I have been a long-time fan of his work. His commentary is taxingly prolific, often fiercely biting, and always hugely entertaining. The caliber of the others who now comprised his consortium of contributors is top-notch as well.
So, having made my acceptance speech, I now have two outlets for my blogging addiction. Won’t Steve be pleased!?

are you sure you want to be associated with the likes of Greg? I’m a little shocked that you are “a fan” of his writing.

Yikes, Jack! Harsh words. For the record, I do not always agree with Greg, but always appreciate his candor, as I do yours. It keeps things lively. By the way, we have missed you here.

Welcome to The Virtual Desert Kris! (Not to be confused with The Virtual Dessert)
You’ll be a great addition to the BHB. Try to leave a little Phoenix RE blog traffic for me, ‘kay?

The best part is I get to visit Arizona without actually visiting Arizona. JUST KIDDING!

I’ve always wondered how you do it. The reality is just starting to sink in.

Jack– You should take the time to really read what Greg has to say. I don’t always agree with what he has to say either, but I’ve definitely learned some things from him and he’s got what I consider to be some pretty fresh perspective on things.
Kris– I enjoy what you have to say as well and think you’re a great addition to the greater blogosphere.

Good luck Sandi. I would be curious to see how you like it. I would ask Ardell how she feels/deals with posting on a community blog vs. her own blog. Surely time is an issue and what to post where—Ardell’s juggling act. We have a post coming on this subject. RCG, being the godfather of the community blog probably knows best.
